IO Kitchens Oman has successfully completed a Seed funding round, raising $2.8 million. The investment round was led by the SME Development Fund, with participation from regional investors and family offices.
Founded in 2021 by Hisham Hassan, IO Kitchens focuses on offering a wide variety of meals exclusively through delivery services. The company currently operates three cloud kitchens and manages a portfolio of over 30 food and beverage brands.
This funding is expected to help IO Kitchens enhance its operations within Oman, increase the capacity of its cloud kitchens, and invest in advanced technologies to improve the customer experience.
Commenting on the investment round, Hisham Hassan, CEO of IO Kitchens, said, “We are proud of the trust our investors have shown in us. This financial support will enable us to expand our operations, strengthen our tech infrastructure, and continue building strategic partnerships to drive the company towards further growth and success.”
