Link Closes Seed Funding Round of $1.6 Million

The Saudi social networking platform “Link” has announced the closure of its seed funding round, raising $1.6 million. The round was led by Core Vision and Saudi investor Badr Al-Arjani.

Link offers a variety of services, including text messaging, voice and video calls, and real-time conversation translation. Founded in 2020 by Abdullah Al-Othman, the company has successfully attracted around one million users across 16 different countries, according to the company’s statement. This year and next, Link aims to expand its services to include food delivery, e-commerce, and payments.
