InSky Robotics Establishes First Gulf Facility in Ras Al Khaimah
InSky Robotics, an Australian technology company, has announced the commencement of its first Gulf facility in the Al Hamra Industrial Zone in Ras Al Khaimah under the name “VIM Solar Robotics.” This strategic move comes in response to the growing demand for robotic solutions in the solar energy sector across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.
The new facility will be dedicated to assembling, storing, and supplying advanced cleaning robots produced by VIM Solar Robotics. These robots are designed to automatically clean solar panels, setting a new global standard for automatic solar plant cleaning. The robots are engineered to operate autonomously without the need for batteries or complex electronic tools and are capable of withstanding harsh weather conditions. Additionally, the robots are made from standardized components, which simplifies repairs and significantly reduces operational and maintenance costs.
Alexey Ermyshin, CEO of VIM Solar Robotics, explained that the company fully understands the growing demand for efficient cleaning robots in the GCC market. He noted that the robots’ lack of maintenance requirements and their widespread use in solar power plants make them the ideal choice for this market. Consequently, the company has introduced the innovative “Voltimate” technology, specifically designed to meet the needs of the UAE market. Ermyshin also highlighted the pivotal role of RAKEZ in facilitating the company’s establishment in Ras Al Khaimah.
Ramy Jallad, CEO of RAKEZ Group, welcomed the inclusion of VIM Solar Robotics in Ras Al Khaimah’s business community. Jallad emphasized that the presence of this company in the emirate reflects the effectiveness of Ras Al Khaimah’s strategic advantages for advanced technology companies. He added that the company’s investment not only highlights RAKEZ’s position as a vibrant and supportive hub for technology and sustainable energy but also aligns with its commitment to fostering industrial growth and technological innovation in the region.
This development is a significant addition to the technology and renewable energy sector in Ras Al Khaimah and enhances the emirate’s position as a key center for technology companies seeking to expand in the Gulf region.
