Demo Day of the 2nd Cohort of the Cybersecurity Accelerator

Saudi Arabia, July 4, 2024: The second cohort of the Cybersecurity Accelerator has graduated. This accelerator is the result of a strategic partnership between the National Cybersecurity Authority and the Saudi Information Technology Company (SITE) on one side, and Plug and Play, one of the world’s largest technology accelerator companies, on the other.

The Cybersecurity Accelerator aims to support and empower startups in the cybersecurity field in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, fostering innovation in developing effective security solutions to tackle the growing challenges in the digital space.

The accelerator aims to achieve several strategic objectives, including:

• Increasing the number of specialized companies in cybersecurity: The accelerator seeks to attract young talent and foster innovative entrepreneurship in cybersecurity, providing necessary support and guidance to develop their projects into successful startups.
• Enhancing innovation in cybersecurity: The accelerator aims to stimulate the development of innovative security solutions that keep pace with rapid advancements in cyber threats, meeting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s needs in this field.
• Supporting cybersecurity entrepreneurship: The accelerator offers participating startups a range of supportive services, such as mentoring programs, workshops, networking opportunities with investors, and connections to relevant public and private sector entities.

Assists organizations in ensuring their suppliers meet regulatory and compliance standards, by providing seamless andautomated processes, all while monitoring their cybersecurity maturity.
