Dubai and the UAE are set to witness a plethora of global events and activities in April, further solidifying the country’s position as a global hub for business, tourism, and innovation across all fields.
The UAE is one of the foremost global destinations for hosting and organizing exhibitions, conferences, and specialized events throughout the year. In April, the country will host a series of economic, health, scientific, sports, and cultural events with wide international participation, with Dubai attracting numerous global events, reflecting the significant activity the emirate witnesses in this field.
“Sight Machines Summit”
The “Sight Machines Summit 2024,” to be held at the Museum of the Future in Dubai on April 17, is set to attract over 5,000 researchers, entrepreneurs, investors, startup teams, and technology enthusiasts. The event is supported by innovative companies such as NVIDIA, the Institute of Technological Innovation, Core 42, Entema, Dubai Business Events, Mohammed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence, and Emirates Airlines.
“Future Festival”
Dubai will host the inaugural edition of the “Future Festival” on April 24 and 25 at Expo Dubai, under the theme “The Year AI Changes Your Life” in the Middle East region. The event will feature prominent innovators and creative minds from around the world.
“Middle East Energy Exhibition”
The Middle East Energy Exhibition will see participation from over 250 speakers in its 49th edition, taking place at the Dubai World Trade Center from April 16 to 18. The exhibition primarily focuses on accelerating the global transition to renewable energy, exploring opportunities for sustainability and carbon neutrality.
“Middle East Coatings Show”
Coinciding with the same timing (April 16-18), the Middle East Coatings Show will be held at the Dubai World Trade Center. This event brings together various stakeholders in the coatings sector, providing an ideal platform for communication, interaction, and deal-making between manufacturers, raw material suppliers, distributors, buyers, and technical specialists.
“GISEC Global”
The Dubai World Trade Center will host the “GESIC Global 2024” exhibition and conference from April 23 to 25. The 2024 edition of the exhibition focuses on five main areas, including government security, financial track, healthcare track, a “Conference of Senior Information Security Officers” dedicated to exploring risks posed by state-sponsored hackers, internal threats, and organized groups for electronic intrusions.
“Future Energy Summit”
The Global Future Energy Summit 2024 will be held in Abu Dhabi from April 16 to 18 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center. The summit is expected to attract about 400 exhibitors and over 30,000 visitors, along with hosting more than 350 speakers on topics such as solar energy, environmental waste, water, clean energy, climate, environment, and smart cities.
This year’s edition introduces three new forums on mechanisms to control the rate of global temperature rise to 1.5 degrees Celsius, green finance, and electric mobility.
