Exclusive Interview from LEAP 24 with the CEO and Co-founder of “Jalebi” Platform

In an exclusive interview with entARABI from the LEAP 24 Conference, we met with the co-founder and CEO of the Jalebi platform, Zohare Haider, to discuss their innovative platform for restaurant inventory management.

The platform aims to help restaurant owners improve their operational efficiency and reduce costs.

Mr. Haider stated that Jalebi is a software platform for restaurant inventory management that automates and improves food consumption, waste tracking, and order management. They developed this technology in consultation with experts in the restaurant sector to help them alleviate the burden of excessive costs and make their restaurant operations more agile.

Jalebi is the world’s first restaurant operating system based on inventory management and has received support from Techstars.

The system represents a qualitative leap in restaurant technology, focusing on:

Mr. Haider stated:

• In 2022, we built the latest version of the initial product in just 30 days, tested it, and prepared it for launch as a saleable product. We graduated from the Techstars program and began the journey of angel investment fundraising.
• In 2023, we started selling the product, and it was an extremely exciting year. We were able to surpass it, and now, even in 2024, we expect to achieve more successes.
• In the past few months, we have received investments from Saudi Telecom Company as part of their growth acceleration program.
• We believe that Saudi Arabia is the largest and most suitable market for us to build this company.
• We plan to expand in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf countries.
• Our goal is to become the preferred restaurant operating system in the region.
• We believe we have a great founding team and the necessary fighting spirit to achieve our goals.
