partnership between PayTabs and Near Pay to develop payment systems in Saudi Arabia

PayTabs, a financial technology and payment solutions group, has announced a partnership with NearPay, a developer of payment infrastructure systems in Saudi Arabia, to provide a contactless payment experience for users in Jordan and other markets where PayTabs operates in the region.

According to a joint press statement, the collaboration between the two companies aims to enhance the customer experience for users of the PayTabs Touch and MEPS FAST applications in Jordan.

The partnership will integrate NearPay’s modern payment infrastructure and NFC-enabled mobile devices into the PayTabs Touch app, turning them into mobile point-of-sale (mPOS) devices.

Commenting on the partnership, Iyad Masharbash, Regional Manager of PayTabs Group, said, “Two Saudi brands in the financial technology sector are collaborating to support contactless payments in the region.
