Emarat collaborates with “UAE Innovates” to provide a joint platform that enhances creativity and innovation
February 22, 2024, Dubai, United Arab Emirates: The Emirates General Petroleum Corporation (Emarat) announced its collaboration with the “UAE Innovates” initiative, the nation’s largest event celebrating innovation and innovators, aiming to enhance the culture of innovation and provide a supportive environment for creativity that contributes to a positive impact on society. As part of this collaboration, strategic workshops were organized to offer a platform for exchanging ideas, experiences, and innovations, as well as creating opportunities for building partnerships that contribute to finding innovative solutions that can accelerate progress and effect positive change in society. This partnership also supports the goals of the UAE Innovation Month, one of the major national initiatives launched by the Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Government Innovation, aligning with the national vision and government directives to enhance the country’s position as a global hub for innovation.
In this context, Sultan Al Ghafli, the Executive Director of Strategy and Business Development at the Emirates General Petroleum Corporation “Emarat,” stated: “At Emarat, we actively contribute to the country’s growth and development. Our cooperation with UAE Innovates stems from our understanding of innovation as a fundamental pillar of Emarat’s growth strategy centered around our customers. The “UAE Innovates” events, which began in 2015 under the title UAE Innovation Week and evolved into UAE Innovation Month in its third edition in 2017, have become over eight years the most important event for celebrating innovation and innovators, spreading the culture of innovation in society, and part of the national efforts to promote innovation culture in both government and private sectors, while also enhancing the UAE’s presence as a global innovation hub and environment for developing projects aimed at improving community life.
