ShipBee, a Qatar-based logistics technology company specializing in international shipping and digital logistics solutions, has announced the closing of a $500,000 seed funding round led by GrowthX Capital. The investment aims to accelerate the company’s growth and strengthen its presence in the regional logistics technology sector.

Founded in 2024 by Tamer Raafat and Amer Azzani, ShipBee offers an integrated digital platform for managing both local and international logistics services. The platform includes a digital freight marketplace that connects businesses with transport providers, as well as dedicated applications for users and drivers.

In addition, the company provides software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions that help businesses manage shipping operations and supply chains more efficiently through digital tools that streamline processes, track shipments, and improve operational visibility.

According to the company, the newly secured funding will be directed toward several strategic initiatives, including strengthening the platform’s technical infrastructure, expanding the team, and integrating artificial intelligence technologies to enhance logistics efficiency and improve the overall user experience.

ShipBee stated that the funding round represents an important step toward expanding its vision of simplifying logistics services by delivering advanced technology solutions tailored to evolving market demands.

Hamad Al Hajri commented that the investment reflects confidence in the company’s ability to drive meaningful change in the logistics sector. He noted that the geopolitical challenges currently affecting the region increase the need for innovative solutions that ensure stable and efficient supply chains.

He added that the investment demonstrates investors’ confidence in ShipBee’s ability to deliver technology-driven solutions that support the sustainability and resilience of logistics operations.
