MoneyHash, a platform specializing in digital payment services across emerging and international markets, has announced the signing of a partnership with Wayl, which operates in payments and billing management, with the aim of supporting global and regional companies entering the Iraqi market.
The agreement supports geographic expansion across emerging markets, particularly Iraq.
Under the partnership, MoneyHash will rely on Wayl to support its expansion in Iraq by enabling startups to address local payment requirements through a robust and well-documented digital infrastructure.
The partnership focuses on supporting expansion within the Iraqi e-commerce ecosystem in line with local market needs.
This requires a deep understanding of local digital payment methods and relevant regulatory procedures, as well as enabling merchants to access leading payment networks and methods, including international credit cards, local digital wallets, and account-based payment options within Iraq through Wayl’s platform.
Commenting on the partnership, Nader Abdel Razek, Co-Founder and CEO of MoneyHash, said:
“Expanding into markets such as Iraq requires more than just technical readiness; it requires deep local understanding and trusted partners.”
He added:
“Our partnership with Wayl reflects our geographic expansion approach, working alongside strong local players to enable companies to enter new markets while confidently managing payment complexities.”
