Omani tourism platform Darrbak Plus has successfully closed its first pre-seed funding round, backed by the Oman Investment Authority through its Future Fund Oman. While the investment amount remains undisclosed, the funding marks a significant step in Darrbak Plus’s mission to digitize and streamline the tourism experience across the Sultanate.
Darrbak Plus is operated by Darrbak Oman for Tourism Services, with a focus on providing tailored travel experiences for corporates, government entities, and institutions.
The platform enables users to discover and book a wide range of adventure and cultural experiences—whether mountain, marine, or desert-based—across Oman. It offers advanced booking for up to six months and allows users to customize their itineraries, including flights and hotel reservations.
Darrbak Plus distinguishes itself with a secure and seamless online booking and payment system. For experience providers and adventure operators, the platform also offers better communication channels with customers and a smart, secure payment gateway to ensure upfront payment collection.
The investment will support Darrbak Plus in enhancing its tech infrastructure and expanding access to tourism providers and customers across Oman.
