Zest Equity, the UAE-based digital infrastructure platform for private market transactions, announced that it has raised $4.3 million in a Pre-Series A funding round. The round was led by Prosus Ventures, with participation from Morgan Stanley Inclusive & Sustainable Ventures (MSISV) and several strategic investors.

Founded in 2021 by Zuhair Sham’a and Rawan Badour, Zest Equity specializes in building a full-stack digital infrastructure that enables the efficient and streamlined execution of private market transactions.

Strategic Use of Funds

The newly raised capital will be strategically utilized to acquire specialized talent, expand into the Saudi Arabian market, develop new products, and strengthen the company’s technical infrastructure to accommodate a growing and diverse transaction volume.

Zuhair Sham’a, Co-Founder and CEO of Zest Equity, stated:

“This funding milestone will allow us to continue our mission of removing friction from private market transaction execution.”

The company’s mission is to simplify and digitize the traditionally complex and manual processes involved in private markets by providing cutting-edge infrastructure solutions.

About Zest Equity

Zest Equity is addressing a significant gap in the private market ecosystem by offering end-to-end transaction execution solutions, particularly focusing on deals under $100 million — a segment often overlooked by major investment banks.

The platform is building a proprietary suite of transaction tools to power comprehensive, efficient deal execution, helping democratize access to private market opportunities across the region.

This new investment reflects the growing demand for digital solutions in the private market space and highlights Zest Equity’s role as a critical enabler for the future of private market investing in the Middle East and beyond.
