Stakpak Closes a $500K Funding Round
To expand the team between the United States and Egypt

- Stakpak raises $500K Pre-Seed to expand in the U.S. and grow its engineering team in Egypt.
- AI-powered IDE cuts DevOps time from weeks to hours, solving a $51B inefficiency problem.
- Early users see 5x faster projects and 16x quicker migrations, saving major costs.
Stakpak, Inc. announced today it raised a $500,000 Pre-Seed round led by P1 Ventures with participation from Digital Currency Group, 500 Sanabil, and prominent angel investors like Moataz Soliman and Omar Gabr, co-founders of the AI-powered observability platform Instabug. The capital will mostly be used to grow the business and operations team in the USA to lead the market expansion and build up the engineering and product team in Egypt to ship more features consolidating on the momentum it has had launching the 1st AI-powered Integrated Development Environment (IDE) for software infrastructure.
Software development is broken, bloated, slow, and hemorrhaging billions in inefficiencies. In the U.S. alone, the complexity of DevOps tools is a $51 billion problem, bogging down engineers with infrastructure headaches instead of building products. Stakpak’s AI-powered IDE and autonomous AI agents slash the time it takes to build production-ready infrastructure, turning weeks into hours.
Early customers have delivered projects 5x faster and reduced migration tasks 16x faster, all without any specialized DevOps expertise. For engineering teams of 100+ FTEs, this isn’t just an efficiency boost, it’s a six- to seven-figure cost-saving opportunity.
This investment round will supercharge Stakpak’s go-to-market strategy in the United States, and push the boundaries of AI-driven DevOps Agents’ reliability. “We’ve been impressed by George’s vision for StakPak and inspired by the quality of his product and his relentless speed of execution, despite the limited resources. We believe his domain expertise as an early engineer in the US, Europe, and the Middle East uniquely positions him to build a global business,” – Mikael Hajjar, Co-Founder and Managing Partner at P1 Ventures.
George Fahmy, CEO, and founder of Stakpak, Inc. “We’re delighted to have some of the most innovative investors in our region back us, as we build a globally competitive product with many of our team members from Egypt and Africa”. George further noted, “Businesses underestimate the impact LLMs could have on software infrastructure because infrastructure failures can negatively impact your revenue stream, but in 2024 we built the most reliable code generation for infrastructure as code like Terraform and OpenTofu, and this year we’re launching the most reliable AI Agent for DevOps work, unlocking massive value for software businesses globally”
The Stakpak platform and an early version of its agent are available at https://stakpak.dev. Stakpak’s early customers such as Rami Elsawy, CTO, CheckFirst AI shares testimonials “As a team of developers with limited experience in DevOps, we were blown away by how Stakpak helped us streamline our infrastructure setup”. Maged Shalaby, Head of Engineering, Preventia, said, “AWS is now a 100 times easier, I wish we had this 3 years ago”.
