April 23, 2025 – Riyadh, Saudi Arabia: As part of the Kingdom’s ambitious Vision 2030 and the Health Sector Transformation Program, the healthcare sector is witnessing groundbreaking innovations with the integration of generative artificial intelligence (AI) into its operations. In this context, PwC Middle East, in collaboration with the Health Sector Transformation Program, has released its latest report titled “Exploring New Frontiers in Healthcare: The Strategic Guide to Generative AI in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.” The report offers an in-depth analysis of the current state of healthcare transformation and the readiness of generative AI to reshape the future of healthcare services in the Kingdom.

The report brings together insights from the 28th CEO Survey: Saudi Arabia Results, revealing that 92% of CEOs in the Kingdom plan to systematically integrate generative AI into their companies’ technology platforms within the next three years. Additionally, 88% intend to embed it into core business strategy, and 79% aim to use it for new product and service development. In the healthcare sector specifically, the potential uses of generative AI are increasingly aligned with building a “Vibrant Society.” These applications include medical imaging and diagnostics, drug discovery, mobile clinics, and predictive care tailored to individual needs.

Commenting on the report, Tarek El-Bashtawi, Partner in the Health Industries Sector and Leader of Digital Transformation in Healthcare at PwC Middle East, said:
