The Qatar Research, Development, and Innovation (QRDI) Council has announced the launch of the “Startup Business Development Grant” during the Web Summit Qatar 2025, as part of its initiatives aimed at fostering innovation across various sectors.
This grant seeks to support early-stage startups by accelerating innovation and enhancing research, development, and innovation (RDI) activities within small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and startups, contributing to Qatar’s sustainable economic growth.
In this context, Mada Al Awlaqi, Director of Innovation Development and Experimentation Programs at QRDI Council, emphasized that this initiative is a key step in creating a supportive ecosystem for startups and SMEs by equipping them with the necessary resources for growth.
She highlighted the council’s commitment to fostering an environment that enables these businesses to thrive and develop innovative solutions, further solidifying Qatar’s position as a global leader in innovation.
