Ahmed Al Shanawany, Managing Director of “Souhoola,” a specialized consumer finance platform, has signed a cooperation protocol to launch a prepaid payment card in partnership with Visa, the global leader in electronic payments. The signing took place in the presence of Malak El Baba, Vice President and General Manager of Visa Egypt.

This collaboration aims to support financial inclusion in Egypt, empower startups and entrepreneurs, and provide financial solutions for individuals, aligning with Egypt’s Vision 2030 to foster economic growth and development.

The new cards will offer customers more flexible options for bank transfers, electronic payments, and installment payments. The launch is scheduled to take place later this year.

Ahmed Al Shanawany, Managing Director of Souhoola, stated that the agreement seeks to provide innovative financial solutions to customers while boosting e-commerce transactions and enabling secure and convenient payment methods.

Malak El Baba, Vice President and General Manager of Visa Egypt, commented that this collaboration will contribute to improving the lives of Egyptians by providing secure and flexible financial tools, ultimately enhancing the overall shopping experience and promoting digital payments in Egypt.
