Khadija Salah, Gaming Vendor Manager at Vodafone, participated in Techne Summit Alexandria 2024, where she discussed the growth of the electronic gaming industry in Egypt. During her interview with the entArabi team, Khadija spoke about the importance of this growing sector and emphasized the role of investors in fostering its development.
Khadija said, “I am here today to talk about the growth of the electronic gaming industry in Egypt, how investors view this sector, and how we can encourage them to invest in it.” She pointed out that this field is still in its developmental phase in Egypt, having started to expand significantly since 2016. She added, “Investors have already begun to take notice of this sector since then, and it is witnessing a global annual growth rate of approximately 9%.”
Khadija explained that her participation in the Techne Summit was an important opportunity to explore new prospects in the electronic gaming industry and expand her network of relationships. She also expressed her ambition to build new partnerships that could help drive this growing sector forward in Egypt, saying, “I benefited from attending the summit, and I look forward to expanding my network and forming successful partnerships.”
