EdVentures Supports Educational Innovation by Selecting 8 New Startups

EdVentures, the venture capital arm of Nahdet Misr and the first educational technology-focused venture capital company in the Middle East, continues to strengthen its support for entrepreneurship and startups. Recently, the company selected 8 new startups to receive funding and support aimed at accelerating their growth and fostering innovation in education.

EdVentures Manages Egypt’s Digital Innovation Center “Creativa” in Sohag

As part of its ongoing efforts to support entrepreneurship, EdVentures has taken on the management and execution of the Ministry of Communications’ programs in various Digital Egypt Centers across the country, starting with the “Creativa” center in Sohag. This collaboration aims to provide a nurturing environment for innovation and entrepreneurship by offering a range of specialized services to startups, from company formation to offering consultancy and marketing support for their products.

8 New Startups Join EdVentures’ Portfolio

After a thorough evaluation of entrepreneurs participating in the latest business accelerator program organized by EdVentures, 8 new startups were selected for support. This initiative is part of EdVentures’ broader strategy to expand and promote innovation in the education sector, with the aim of improving education quality and making it more accessible to all.

Through this support, the newly selected startups will join 14 other companies that have previously received backing from EdVentures. This expansion reflects EdVentures’ commitment to developing the education system and supporting the next generation of entrepreneurs.

The selected companies offer innovative solutions in the educational field, utilizing educational technology to enhance learning experiences and empower students to reach their full potential. Some of the standout companies include:

  • Elkheta: A platform offering tutoring services and exams to help school students in Egypt improve their academic performance.
  • Saikoro: A company that transforms traditional printed educational materials into interactive digital content, making learning more fun and effective.
  • The Copywriter: An educational platform that helps young people develop their professional and creative skills, with a focus on writing and creativity.
  • Techy App: A company focused on teaching STEM subjects (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) through an interactive online platform targeting children and youth.
  • SchoolZ: A specialized school transport system providing safe and convenient transportation for students.
  • ArmStrong: An interactive online learning platform offering STEM programs that bridge the gap between school curricula and real-world applications, with courses available in both Arabic and English.
  • Tutoro: A platform connecting students with teachers for face-to-face lessons, with future plans to introduce AI-powered tutoring.
  • InvestED: A platform connecting businesses with schools to raise funds for students in need, helping them continue their education.
