Riyadh to Host 24Fintech Summit

Positioning Saudi Arabia as a Global Leader in Financial Technology

=Riyadh is gearing up to host the “24 Fintech” conference and exhibition from September 3rd to 5th at the Riyadh Exhibition and Conference Center.

Themed “Beyond Borders… Beyond Time,” the event is organized by Fintech Saudi and Tahaluf.

Under the esteemed patronage of the Financial Sector Development Program (FSDP), the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA), the Capital Market Authority (CMA), and the Insurance Authority (IA), in collaboration with Fintech Saudi and Tahaluf, the three-day summit promises to gather over 300 exhibitors, 200 speakers, more than 200 investors, and is expected to draw over 26,000 visitors, featuring participation from over 80 fintech startups.

The summit aims to catalyze innovation in the financial technology sector across the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and Asia, incorporating industry gatherings and brand activations scheduled from September 1st to 6th.

Key discussions and workshops will bring together central bank leaders from the Arab region and the Middle East, alongside experts, investors, and entrepreneurs, to address pivotal issues in financial technology.

These discussions will spotlight significant technological advancements impacting financial operations, spanning infrastructure provision to customer service enhancements.

The event underscores Saudi Arabia’s strategic positioning as a global financial powerhouse driven by technology, solidifying Riyadh’s status as an international fintech hub.

“24 Fintech” aligns with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 for sustainable development and aims to establish the summit as a premier financial business event across Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa.

A highlight of the summit includes a special initiative designed to facilitate connections between regulatory bodies and ambitious fintech companies seeking to establish a footprint in the Kingdom.

The event will also feature a dedicated investor program and the “Venturescape” area, fostering collaboration among over 200 global investors and 100 fintech companies through workshops, mentoring sessions, and pitch practices.

A competitive startup showcase will be a key feature, with winning startups standing to receive a prize of $250,000 (approximately 900,000 Saudi Riyals).
