Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Dr. Amr Talaat, and Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, conducted an inspection visit to “Club One” in Maadi, the first smart sports club in Egypt, in preparation for its expected opening in the second quarter of the next year.
This comes as part of the collaboration between the Ministries of Communications and Information Technology, and Youth and Sports, to support the development of smart sports services and electronic games in Egypt.
The club is expected to achieve a qualitative leap in the field of sports, offering a unique smart sports experience to its members.
The new club is a significant step towards supporting the sports system in Egypt, ensuring its development in line with the latest global technologies.
The Minister of Communications and Information Technology emphasized that technology has become a fundamental pillar for the development of various sectors, including the sports system.
The club utilizes technology in its services, relying on a digital payment system and modern technologies such as artificial intelligence.
He added that “Club One” provides a new model for sports services that aligns with global technological advancements.
The club is based on a high-tech infrastructure that allows integration between smart devices and systems, focusing on the use of modern technologies such as augmented reality and virtual reality.
The expansion plan of the club aims to encompass all stages of esports and digital entertainment, including the discovery, development, and support of electronic game developers and applications.

The club has opened subscriptions and is situated on a 22-acre facility, featuring diverse amenities such as a large stadium and dedicated halls for various sports.
