UAE-based clean energy company Positive Zero has secured a $375 million financing facility to accelerate the expansion of its distributed solar power portfolio, energy efficiency solutions, and clean mobility projects across the Gulf region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The financing was arranged jointly by Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking and the Arab Energy Fund in what is considered one of the largest clean energy portfolio financing deals in the Middle East, covering a diversified portfolio of sustainable energy assets under a single facility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Positive Zero will use the new financing to support its expansion across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman, and Qatar, while funding new infrastructure projects and additional capital investments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The transaction reflects growing regional investor confidence in sustainable energy technologies as Gulf countries continue accelerating their energy transition and carbon reduction strategies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The financing also builds on Positive Zero’s landmark investment round led by BlackRock last year, which reached up to $400 million and remains the company’s largest funding round to date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Positive Zero currently manages more than 500 MW of distributed solar projects across the GCC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the company, its projects have helped reduce more than 450,000 metric tons of carbon emissions annually, supporting regional sustainability goals and net-zero ambitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In addition, the company’s energy efficiency solutions have enabled customers to save more than 100 million kilowatt-hours of electricity through improved energy management and operational efficiency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Positive Zero provides integrated energy solutions that enable businesses and organizations to transition to more sustainable energy sources without significant upfront capital investments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The new financing is expected to accelerate the deployment of renewable energy, energy efficiency, and clean mobility projects while strengthening the company’s presence across Gulf markets experiencing growing demand for cost-effective, low-carbon energy solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
