Dubizzle Group, has announced a strategic partnership and investment in Tern, the UAE\u2019s first rent rewards platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The partnership aims to create a more flexible, digital, and rewarding rent payment experience for tenants, landlords, property managers, and real estate agents across the UAE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As part of the partnership, Tern will be integrated exclusively into Bayut and dubizzle, enabling tenants to pay their rent using credit cards while earning Tern Rewards points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
These points can be redeemed across a network of retail, travel, and lifestyle partners, allowing tenants to gain more value from one of their largest recurring household expenses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For tenants, Tern provides a more flexible way to manage rent payments without hidden fees or additional costs for using credit cards. The platform also allows users to earn rewards that can be redeemed for flights, electronics, and everyday lifestyle benefits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The platform also offers clear benefits for landlords, property managers, and real estate agents by supporting faster and fully digital rent collection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
By offering tenants a more attractive and flexible payment experience, Tern can help improve tenant retention and increase the appeal of rental properties in a competitive real estate market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Founded in 2024 by Saeed Al Sayed and Mohammad Chehito, Tern was officially launched in May 2025. Since then, the company has positioned itself as the UAE\u2019s first dedicated rent rewards platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The platform now processes more than AED 150 million in annualized rent payments through its ecosystem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
By building a multi-sided loyalty network that connects tenants, landlords, banks, and merchants, Tern is working to modernize how rent is paid across the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Commenting on the partnership, Haider Ali Khan, CEO of Dubizzle Group UAE, said that Bayut and dubizzle have always focused on solving real challenges across the property journey, beyond simply helping people find a home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He added that rent is one of the largest recurring expenses for most households, yet the payment experience has traditionally lacked flexibility and added value. According to Khan, Tern offers a compelling solution to this challenge, supported by a strong founding team and a clear vision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The investment was made through Dubizzle Group Ventures, the group\u2019s dedicated investment arm, which focuses on early-stage technology startups across the GCC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
