{"id":61556,"date":"2026-03-17T19:34:21","date_gmt":"2026-03-17T16:34:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/entarabi.com\/?p=61556"},"modified":"2026-03-17T19:40:01","modified_gmt":"2026-03-17T16:40:01","slug":"algeria-based-yassir-acquires-kawarizmi-to-build-an-ecosystem-supporting-brands-and-suppliers-in-mena","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/entarabi.com\/en\/2026\/03\/algeria-based-yassir-acquires-kawarizmi-to-build-an-ecosystem-supporting-brands-and-suppliers-in-mena\/","title":{"rendered":"Algeria-based Yassir acquires Kawarizmi to build an ecosystem supporting brands and suppliers in  MENA."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Algeria-based Yassir announces the acquisition of Kawarizmi to build an ecosystem that supports brands and suppliers in the region.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The deal will help advance the retail media and marketing sector, enabling merchants and suppliers to more easily access African and European markets.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Algeria-based Yassir, a super app specializing in digital payments and on-demand services across North Africa, has acquired French company Kawarizmi, a firm specialized in ad-tech and programmatic trading.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Through this acquisition, Yassir aims to build an integrated retail media and advertising ecosystem, enabling brands, suppliers, partners, and merchants to easily access fast-growing and dynamic markets through advanced programmatic technologies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Kawarizmi brings together algorithmic media buying, creative performance expertise, and the ability to execute campaigns across multiple markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Under the deal, Kawarizmi will enhance Yassir\u2019s advertising infrastructure both within its app ecosystem and externally across the open web, connected TV (CTV), and mobile environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p dir=\"ltr\">With Kawarizmi\u2019s integration, Yassir will expand its platform to monetize first-party data through a privacy-first advertising infrastructure, while also strengthening global brand partnerships across Europe, the Middle East and North Africa, and Africa. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The move will further support the development of a regional ad-tech stack with global ambitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Noureddine Tayebi, Founder and CEO of Yassir, commented:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><br>\u201cAdvertising and retail media are strategic pillars for Yassir\u2019s next phase of growth.
