Signed on February 17, 2026, the deal is a strategic move to anchor Netis\u2019 traditional telecom activities in Morocco while expanding its portfolio into critical IT infrastructure and high-availability security systems. Netcom Technologies, founded in 1992, is a well-established player in the Moroccan ecosystem, serving both public institutions and private organizations with high-value technical solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The acquisition follows a significant leadership transition within Netis Group. In October 2025, Alykhan Kassam\u2014formerly of Siemens and John Cockerill\u2014was appointed CEO to lead the company\u2019s next phase of growth. This expansion is backed by a consortium of investors including Amethis, AfricInvest, the International Finance Corporation (IFC), and Proparco.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By integrating Netcom\u2019s expertise in physical and digital security, Netis aims to transition from a telecom tower and fiber infrastructure provider into a broader digital infrastructure and energy services partner across its operations in 16 African countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Alykhan Kassam, CEO of Netis Group, stated:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis acquisition is a structural operation that anchors our traditional activities in Morocco while expanding our portfolio toward new professions across all our geographies.
