Karim Saleh, CEO of the company, stated that Egypt represents a major growth opportunity within Beban\u2019s regional expansion strategy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The move comes after <strong>Forsa AI Fund<\/strong> \u2014 founded by Mohamed Abou El Naga, CEO of <strong>Exits MENA<\/strong> \u2014 increased its stake in the company to support the establishment of the new entity, <strong>Beban Egypt<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">An Equity-Based Model, Not Debt Crowdfunding<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Saleh explained that Beban operates under an equity crowdfunding model rather than debt-based financing. The platform connects investors with startups and SMEs seeking capital in exchange for equity stakes, offering direct ownership opportunities. The minimum investment starts at $100, according to Enterprise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of Beban\u2019s distinctive features is its television program that showcases investment opportunities, similar to global entrepreneurship shows. This approach helps raise investment awareness and attract a broader base of retail investors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Egypt as a Strategic Growth Market<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Saleh noted that Bahrain\u2019s relatively small population of approximately 1.7 million people prompted the company to pursue expansion into larger markets, while maintaining Bahrain as its regional headquarters.
