Premialab has announced the completion of a $220 million investment round, led by global investment firm KKR, with participation from Balderton, to support the company\u2019s expansion plans and further develop its operational systems.<\/p>\n
Premialab, a provider of data, analytics, and risk management solutions for quantitative investment, said the new investment will enable it to accelerate product development, strengthen its technology infrastructure, and enhance its analytical capabilities to support global expansion.<\/p>\n
The investment will be primarily executed through KKR Next Generation Technology Growth Fund III, marking the platform\u2019s first investment in the Gulf region.<\/p>\n
\nRothschild & Co acted as financial advisor to Premialab, while A&O Shearman served as its legal advisor. Gibson Dunn provided legal counsel to KKR.<\/p>\n
Premialab is headquartered in Dubai, with offices in New York, London, Paris, Hong Kong, and Sydney. KKR\u2019s investment will support the company\u2019s global growth strategy, the development of its core operating systems, and the expansion of its execution product recently launched in collaboration with Eurex, aimed at facilitating access to QIS strategies.<\/p>\n
Pierre Trecourt, Chief Operating Officer at Premialab, said the company is developing a product in partnership with Eurex to broaden access to QIS strategies in a more transparent and scalable manner.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Elliot Bell, Managing Director at KKR, noted that QIS strategies are witnessing growing adoption across various client segments, adding that Premialab continues to strengthen its position as a leading platform in quantitative investment data and analytics.<\/p>\n
