ValU<\/a>, the leading financial technology platform in the Middle East and North Africa, has announced a new collaboration agreement with Ship Blu<\/strong><\/a> and PayTabs<\/strong><\/a> Egypt, aimed at creating a significant shift in payment solutions for e-commerce purchases in Egypt. This partnership will enable customers to pay for their purchases delivered by Ship Blu<\/strong> using their ValU account balance through the myBlu<\/strong> app, even if the online store is outside ValU\u2019s network of merchants. PayTabs<\/strong> Egypt will provide secure payment processing technology, enabling the cash-on-delivery (PoD) feature through the app.<\/p>\n

This partnership seeks to support e-commerce platforms’ merchants and customers by offering innovative digital payment solutions that contribute to the transition towards a cashless society. Through this agreement, ValU customers will be able to use their balance to pay for their purchases via the myBlu<\/strong> app, simplifying the payment process. Currently, the app supports multiple payment methods, including credit cards, debit cards, e-wallets, QR codes, and financing options provided by ValU.<\/p>\n

Moutaz Lotfi, Head of Business Development and Partnerships at ValU, commented, “Signing the collaboration agreement with Ship Blu<\/strong> and PayTabs<\/strong> Egypt is a significant step in ValU’s strategy to provide flexible financial solutions to customers. This partnership will enhance ValU\u2019s ability to bridge the gap between traditional cash payment methods and digital payments, offering a seamless and efficient financial experience for all customers by enabling them to pay in installments upon receiving their orders through Ship Blu<\/strong>.” Lotfi also pointed out that ValU is committed to ongoing innovation and supporting the digital economy by signing similar strategic partnerships to drive the transition towards a cashless society.<\/p>\n

In the same context, Ali Nasser, co-founder and CEO of Ship Blu<\/strong>, stated that this partnership reflects the rapid shift from “cash-on-delivery” (CoD) to “payment-on-delivery” (PoD), a transition in line with the Egyptian economy’s shift towards a digital economy. Nasser added that Ship Blu<\/strong> is leading this transformation through the myBlu<\/strong> app, which offers integrated payment solutions to enhance customers’ shopping experience and improve e-commerce processes.
