HealthStay.io<\/strong><\/a>, a participant in the seventh batch of the Mohammed bin Rashid Innovation Fund’s Innovation Accelerator Program<\/strong>, has announced the launch of the world’s first AI-powered booking and sales management system for the medical tourism<\/strong> sector. This system aims to provide an innovative customer experience in the UAE and the region, enhancing the UAE’s position as a global hub for medical tourism.<\/span><\/p>\n

This system is based on a strategic partnership with the “Dubai Health Experience<\/strong>” under the Dubai Health Authority<\/strong>, serving as an integrated link between tourists coming for treatment and healthcare facilities in Dubai<\/strong>. Tourists can select the healthcare services that suit their needs and complete their bookings through the hospitals’ websites, thereby enhancing their medical experience in Dubai.<\/span><\/p>\n

Fatima Yousuf Alnaqbi<\/strong>, Acting Assistant Undersecretary for Support Services at the Ministry of Finance<\/strong>, Chief Innovation Officer<\/strong>, and the Ministry’s representative at the Mohammed bin Rashid Innovation Fund<\/strong>, emphasized the importance of supporting innovative initiatives to strengthen the UAE’s position as a global center of excellence. She noted that HealthStay.io<\/strong> reflects the vital role of the Innovation Accelerator in supporting the innovation ecosystem and entrepreneurs.<\/span><\/p>\n

HealthStay.io<\/strong> simplifies the processes related to medical tourism<\/strong> through an automated system that offers features such as selecting a doctor, booking flight tickets, visas, and accommodation. The platform also provides hospitals with an advanced tool for customer relationship management<\/strong>, helping them attract more potential patients and increase operational efficiency, thereby enhancing the quality of healthcare services.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sean Conaty<\/strong>, Co-Founder and CEO of HealthStay.io<\/strong>, pointed out that the platform is a living example of the crucial role AI<\/strong> can play in driving medical tourism<\/strong> in the UAE<\/strong>. He expressed confidence in the sector’s immense potential, especially with Dubai<\/strong> receiving approximately 674,000 medical tourists<\/strong> in 2022.<\/span><\/p>\n

The process of officially registering the innovation with the Dubai Health Authority<\/strong> is currently underway to ensure compliance with local regulations and standards. The registration will enable “Dubai Health Experience<\/strong>” members to integrate the advanced HealthStay.io<\/strong> booking and sales management system into their operations, providing medical facilities with the necessary tools to automate booking systems for international clients.<\/span><\/p>\n
