PayTabs, a financial technology and payment solutions group, has announced a partnership with NearPay, a developer of payment infrastructure systems in Saudi Arabia, to provide a contactless payment experience for users in Jordan and other markets where PayTabs operates in the region.<\/p>\n
According to a joint press statement, the collaboration between the two companies aims to enhance the customer experience for users of the PayTabs Touch and MEPS FAST applications in Jordan.<\/p>\n
The partnership will integrate NearPay’s modern payment infrastructure and NFC-enabled mobile devices into the PayTabs Touch app, turning them into mobile point-of-sale (mPOS) devices.<\/p>\n
Commenting on the partnership, Iyad Masharbash, Regional Manager of PayTabs Group, said, “Two Saudi brands in the financial technology sector are collaborating to support contactless payments in the region.<\/p>\n
