COLABS Secures $2 Million in Funding

COLABS, Pakistan’s flexible workspace platform, announced that it has secured $2 million in a pre-Series A funding round. The round was led by UAE-based investment firm Shorooq Partners, with participation from Saudi Arabia’s Waad Investment, which focuses on supporting growth-stage startups across the region.

According to Omar Shah, COLABS’ CEO and co-founder, this funding will be used to establish a new campus in Saudi Arabia and to prepare the company for its Series A round, anticipated for next year.

In a press release, the company highlighted that this latest investment brings its total funding to over $5 million, setting the stage for “strategic expansion into Saudi Arabia and the broader MENA region.” The company’s previous funding round in March 2022 was backed by Indus Valley Capital, Zayn Capital, and Fatima Gobi Ventures.
