Under the deal, SAL International Ground Services BV, a wholly owned subsidiary of SAL, has become the direct owner of Aviapartner Liège SA following the official transfer of ownership.
SAL stated that the acquisition aligns with its international expansion strategy and strengthens its presence at one of Europe’s key air cargo hubs.
The move is expected to enhance the company’s integrated logistics offering while leveraging Aviapartner Liège’s established relationships with global airlines.
The company added that the acquisition will diversify its revenue streams by expanding operations beyond the Saudi market and capitalizing on the continued growth of the global air cargo and logistics industry.
SAL expects the financial impact of the acquisition to be reflected in its financial statements starting from the third quarter of 2026.
The company also confirmed that the transaction involved no related parties and was completed in full compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements.
The acquisition represents one of SAL’s most significant strategic moves this year as it continues to expand internationally and strengthen its position as a regional and global provider of integrated air cargo and logistics solutions.
