BrainsMingle, an AI-powered professional networking platform built around video communication, has closed a $400,000 pre-seed funding round led by Bashar Soft, marking the group’s first strategic investment since its acquisition of iCareer last year.
The investment reflects Bashar Soft’s strategy to expand its presence in startups operating in the human capital technology and professional development space. The group currently serves more than 9 million users through its platforms, including WUZZUF, Forasna, iCareer, and Recruitera
BrainsMingle aims to address the challenges professionals and experts face in managing coaching sessions, bookings, payments, and professional communities by bringing these services together on a single platform powered by artificial intelligence and video communication. The platform enables users to connect with experts, join professional communities, and manage their professional activities from one place.
According to the company, the platform has attracted experts, professionals, and communities from more than 90 countries. It has also expanded its services to universities, educational institutions, startup accelerators, and corporations by enabling organizations to create branded internal platforms for learning, mentorship, and professional networking, while maintaining full ownership of their data and managing member experiences within a unified environment
Bilal Amin, Co-Founder and CEO of BrainsMingle, said the platform was built on the belief that the most valuable professional experiences come from meaningful interactions between people rather than content consumption alone. He added that the company aims to provide a unified space where experts can share their knowledge and build professional communities around their expertise
He added that BrainsMingle was designed to serve professionals worldwide rather than a specific market or geographic region, describing BasharSoft’s investment as a strong endorsement of the company’s vision and an important step toward accelerating its expansion and platform development
For his part, Amir Sherif, Co-Founder and Chairman of Bashar Soft, said the company has spent the past 15 years connecting talent with opportunities, but identified a clear gap in the way knowledge and expertise are exchanged online. He noted that BrainsMingle has developed a unified platform that brings together multiple tools professionals rely on in one place
Sherif added that the investment aligns with BasharSoft’s strategy to empower 50 million people in their career journeys by 2030
BrainsMingle plans to use the new funding to accelerate product development, expand its team, and strengthen its presence among professionals and organizations as it works toward building a global professional network connecting experts across the technology, entrepreneurship, and creative industries.
