TruDoc Healthcare, a GCC-focused virtual healthcare platform, has raised $15 million in a Pre-Series B funding round, in a move aimed at strengthening its regional expansion and advancing its digital healthcare services.

The investment round included participation from the Al Nahyan and Al Ketbi families, in addition to continued backing from existing investor Pulsar Capital, reflecting investor confidence in the company’s model centered on delivering scalable remote healthcare services.

The company plans to use the new funding to expand its “virtual-first” healthcare model, while also enhancing its at-home critical care services across the GCC, supporting the region’s shift toward more flexible, technology-driven healthcare delivery models.

Dr. Ahmed Mansour, CEO of the Private Department of H.E. Sheikh Mohamed Bin Khaled Al Nahyan, said that healthcare systems around the world are facing increasing pressure to deliver more services, manage chronic diseases more effectively, and achieve better outcomes without continuously expanding physical infrastructure.

He added that TruDoc’s model introduces a different approach focused on expanding access to healthcare services and improving efficiency while maintaining clinical quality, noting that this model aligns with the UAE’s long-term priorities and the future of healthcare in the Middle East.

For his part, Vish Narain, Executive Chairman of TruDoc, said that for centuries healthcare systems have been built around a model where patients travel to medical facilities and receive care in episodic interactions.

He explained that this structure no longer reflects modern lifestyles or the realities of managing chronic diseases, adding that TruDoc aims to rebuild healthcare as a continuous and scalable infrastructure that operates beyond the boundaries of traditional hospitals.

Meanwhile, Asad Khan, CEO of TruDoc, noted that the discussion is no longer about whether high-quality healthcare can be delivered outside hospitals, but rather how quickly healthcare systems can adapt to this shift.

He added that the company has already demonstrated its ability to deliver advanced medical care safely and effectively in patients’ homes at scale, noting that the new funding will enable TruDoc to expand this model across GCC markets while maintaining high clinical standards and strengthening patient trust.

About TruDoc

Founded in 2011 in the Middle East, TruDoc provides a wide range of healthcare services including telemedicine consultations, chronic disease management, diagnostics, home pharmacy delivery, and in-home clinical care.

The company also operates a “Hospital-at-Home” program, which allows patients to receive treatment at home with a level of care comparable to hospital services, helping reduce the need for traditional hospital visits.

TruDoc works with insurance companies, employers, and government entities across regional markets including the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.

Its platform integrates virtual primary care, diagnostics, pharmacy delivery, and home nursing services into a single system, enabling patients to receive continuous healthcare support instead of relying solely on hospital visits when medical issues arise.
