The Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) in Giza is hosting, starting today through next Saturday, the new edition of RiseUp Summit 2026, held under the theme “The Turning Point.”

The latest edition of the summit highlights RiseUp’s journey and the key milestones it has achieved over 12 years of impact, positioning this year’s summit as a defining moment that bridges legacy with reinvention.

Over the past 12 years, RiseUp has successfully showcased success stories of entrepreneurs, investment funds, and governments in support of entrepreneurship.

This year’s summit is held under the patronage of the Ministerial Group for Entrepreneurship, the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation, and a number of international development partners, including the World Bank Group, the International Finance Corporation (IFC), and the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ).

The summit is expected to attract more than 100,000 attendees, along with 2,000 investors, 3,000 speakers, and 2,000 exhibiting startups, representing 53 countries.

This year, the annual RiseUp Summit continues its support for entrepreneurs through a wide range of specialized sessions, including the Capital Stage, which focuses on funding and investment issues; the Tech Stage, which explores technological advancements and their impact on business; and the Creative Stage, which discusses creative cultures and ways to transform creativity into sustainable economic models.

The summit follows an inclusive model that brings together all key ecosystem stakeholders in a single event, including startups, investors, support organizations, corporates, policymakers, and media, contributing to enhanced growth opportunities and stronger partnerships.

The event also features key exhibitions for ecosystem enablers, accelerators, and incubators, alongside exhibitions for large corporations and startups across various stages, from early-stage ventures to growth-stage companies.

RiseUp has also dedicated spaces to support employment and talent development through its Career Hub, which focuses on job opportunities, youth career coaching, and talent matchmaking, in addition to the Youth Hub, aimed at skills development, educational opportunities, interactive activities, and potential employment pathways.

The summit includes a Pitch Competition, mentorship clinics, and student hackathons designed to turn innovative ideas into viable projects.

In addition, the event hosts a number of satellite activities, including meetings for investors and entrepreneurs, as well as community, sports, and creative events.

The summit further offers a diverse entertainment program, featuring live performances and virtual reality experiences, alongside an educational program through the Learn with RiseUp initiative, which includes workshops, bootcamps, and certified masterclasses.
