Ghanem, a PropTech platform specializing in real estate technology, announced the successful issuance of sukuk for its first investment opportunity, marking a major milestone in the evolution of fractional real estate ownership in Saudi Arabia.
The issuance represents the first case in the Kingdom where real estate tokenization has been executed for more than 500 investors in a single property through a fully integrated digital journey.
The process was completed in an automated manner through integration with the real estate registry, reflecting Saudi Arabia’s progress in building the technical and regulatory infrastructure that supports modern real estate products.
This milestone was further enabled by the regulatory sandbox of the Real Estate General Authority, which has played a key role in supporting innovative investment models and advancing more efficient, well-regulated digital property solutions.
