- Investcorp Strategic Capital Group closes its second fund, Investcorp Strategic Partners II, with $1 billion in commitments
- The closing supports the strategy in a highly selective investment environment and strengthens the group’s assets under management.
Investcorp Strategic Capital Group, the private equity arm of Investcorp, has completed the final close of its second fund, Investcorp Strategic Partners II, along with its related vehicles, reaching total commitments of $1.155 billion, including committed capital for co-investments.
The close reflects a more than 75% increase in size compared to the first fund, achieved in a highly selective investment environment, bringing the total assets under management in this strategy to over $2.4 billion.
ISCP II received strong backing from investors in the first fund, with many increasing or maintaining their commitments. The investor base also expanded geographically to include Asia, Europe, Latin America, and the GCC.
The successful launch of the strategy’s first Rated Note Feeder structured financing vehicle helped attract significant capital from North American insurance companies, in addition to support from public and private pension funds as well as Investcorp itself.
This contributed to further diversifying and strengthening the investor base.

Investcorp Strategic Capital aims to provide advanced institutional tools and resources to support general partners in the mid-market, including product development, integration of AI and technology, human capital management, and add-on acquisition strategies.
Since its establishment in 2019, Investcorp Strategic Capital has supported more than 12 fund managers across private equity, private credit, real assets, infrastructure, and secondaries, with total assets under management exceeding $100 billion across both funds.
The firm expects to build a portfolio of around 10 general partners within the second fund, following a disciplined and diversified investment approach.
