  • Converted has acquired Mitcha, a leading Egyptian platform supporting local designers, to strengthen its AI-powered advertising and data-driven commerce ecosystem.
  • Mitcha founder Hilda Louca joins Converted as Partner and Executive Director, leading strategic partnerships and regional expansion across Egypt and the Middle East.
  • The acquisition accelerates the launch of Converted Orders, a product designed to link advertising spend directly to real sales by integrating ads, payments, and order verification in one system.

Converted, a company specializing in AI-powered advertising technology in emerging markets, has announced its acquisition of Mitcha, one of Egypt’s leading e-commerce platforms supporting local designers. The move is part of a strategic effort to expand a data-driven digital commerce ecosystem focused on measurable results.

As part of the acquisition, Hilda Louca, founder of Mitcha, will join Converted as a partner and executive director, where she will lead strategic partnerships and regional expansion efforts.

Integrating Designers into the Converted Ecosystem

The acquisition represents an important step toward integrating Mitcha’s community of designers and customers into Converted’s ecosystem. This integration will enhance the company’s ability to develop advertising products focused on driving real conversions.

The deal is also expected to accelerate the rollout of Converted Orders, a product designed to run highly precise advertising campaigns centered on actual sales outcomes by linking advertising spend directly to orders and revenue.

The Converted Orders model integrates digital advertising with payment processing and order verification within a single system. This allows advertising campaigns to learn from real sales data rather than relying solely on clicks, significantly improving advertising efficiency and enabling more accurate measurement of return on investment.

Strategic Partnerships and Regional Expansion

In her new role, Hilda Louca will lead efforts to build strategic partnerships and expand the company’s presence across Egypt and the wider region.

Louca brings extensive experience in entrepreneurship and digital commerce. She founded Mitcha to support local designers and has been recognized by Forbes Middle East. She has also served as a judge on the television program Shark Tank Egypt.

Hilda Louca, Founder and CEO of Mitcha, said:

“Joining the Converted ecosystem marks an important step in Mitcha’s growth journey. By combining our market experience and strong designer community with Converted’s advanced capabilities in data and product development, we can transform relationships between designers and merchants into measurable business outcomes.

We look forward to working with partners across Egypt and the region to launch intelligent AI-powered marketing campaigns that generate real sales for designers and merchants.”

Expanding the Digital Commerce Infrastructure

Mohamed Fergany, Founder and CEO of Converted, stated that the acquisition will strengthen the company’s ability to bring together creative talent, audience data, and payment operations within a unified digital commerce infrastructure.

He added that integrating Mitcha into Converted’s ecosystem adds significant value to the Converted Orders product and the company’s broader suite of offerings, enabling merchants to scale efficiently while achieving transparent and verifiable advertising results.

Converted is considered one of the companies developing AI-driven advertising technology, helping merchants transform advertising spending into measurable sales. Its platform integrates digital advertising, payments, and order management, using proprietary data and advanced AI technologies to improve targeting, bidding strategies, and creative performance.

The company currently serves thousands of clients in Egypt and Saudi Arabia.

Mitcha, founded by Hilda Louca, has built a strong community of local designers and a wide customer base in Egypt. The integration of this community into Converted’s ecosystem is expected to expand the company’s product reach and create new growth opportunities for designers and merchants across the region.
