Ankabut and Dell Technologies Sign MoU to Expand High-Performance Digital Learning in the UAE

Ankabut, a leading provider of networking and cloud computing services for the education sector in the United Arab Emirates, announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding with Dell Technologies to strengthen digital infrastructure and support technological innovation across educational institutions in the country.

The agreement was signed in Abu Dhabi by Waleed Yahya, General Manager for the Southern Gulf region at Dell Technologies, and Tarek Elgendy, Chief Executive Officer of Ankabut. The partnership reflects a shared commitment to advancing digital learning through advanced technologies and strategic collaboration.

Strengthening Digital Infrastructure for Academic Institutions

Under the agreement, Ankabut will provide Dell’s GPU-as-a-Service solutions, enabling academic institutions to access accelerated computing capabilities that support data-intensive research and advanced learning applications.

Dell Technologies will also provide high-performance computing systems along with the latest peripherals and workstations, allowing educational institutions to build secure, scalable, and efficient technology infrastructures.

Expanding Access to Advanced Cloud Computing

Ankabut offers a wide range of services including networking, virtualization technologies, cloud computing, application services, cybersecurity, and managed support services through its advanced data center located at Khalifa University.

Through this collaboration, Ankabut aims to expand its cloud computing capabilities, enabling a larger number of institutions to access high-performance computing resources and GPU capabilities. This initiative is expected to support scientific research, improve educational outcomes, and foster innovation across the UAE’s academic ecosystem.
