Adenia Partners has announced the completion of its acquisition of Parkville, a platform specializing in the manufacturing and distribution of pharmaceutical and medical products, as part of its regional expansion strategy.
The transaction involved the sale of a majority stake previously owned by Admaius Capital Partners, a pan-African private equity firm.
The acquisition is expected to support Parkville’s plans to expand its pharmaceutical and medical product distribution footprint across Egypt and the wider region.
Through the acquisition agreement signed between Admaius Capital Partners and Adenia Partners, the transaction aims to accelerate Parkville’s growth strategy by strengthening brand development and supporting the pharmaceutical, cosmetics, and dietary supplements sectors in both the Egyptian market and the broader regional landscape.
The parties to the transaction engaged several international advisory firms to manage the exit process and the transfer of 100% ownership to Adenia Partners, following the fulfillment of customary closing conditions and the receipt of all required regulatory approvals. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Zilla Capital acted as the financial advisor to the selling shareholders, while Matouk Bassiouny and Baker McKenzie served as legal advisors to the transaction.
The acquisition positions Parkville to become one of the leading medical cosmetics platforms in the region by expanding its product portfolio, scaling manufacturing capabilities, strengthening corporate governance, broadening export activities, and accelerating the growth of its e-commerce channels.
