Rology Secures Investment Round to Advance AI-Powered Radiology Reporting Services

Rology, a platform specializing in AI-powered teleradiology services, has closed an investment round without disclosing the deal value.

The round aims to support the company s expansion plans across the Middle East and Africa, enhance its AI-driven radiology reporting and teleradiology services, and bridge gaps in access to radiology services in underserved areas and low- and middle-income countries (LMICs).

The investment round included participation from several international healthcare and technology-focused institutions, including the Philips Foundation; Johnson & Johnson Impact Ventures, the investment arm of U.S.-based Johnson & Johnson; Sanofi Global Health Unit s Impact Fund of the French company Sanofi; and MIT Solve Innovation Future, the investment and innovation fund affiliated with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the United States.

Amr Abodrea, CEO of Rology, stated that the new investment will support the development of advanced AI-driven radiology reporting solutions in collaboration with international institutions that combine deep expertise in healthcare and scientific research. He emphasized that this partnership will positively impact the quality and efficiency of diagnostic services delivered across the region.

Rology provides hospitals, radiology centers, and medical complexes with access to its AI-enhanced diagnostic services, enabling the rapid delivery of high-quality radiology reports without the need to purchase any software, hardware, servers, or incur installation or setup costs.

The platform supports all major radiology subspecialties and imaging modalities, including X-ray, CT scans, and more.
