Adobe, Qualcomm, and Humain Announce Strategic Partnership to Develop Arabic Generative AI Tools

  • Adobe, Qualcomm, and Saudi-based Humain have formed a major partnership to develop Arabic-focused generative AI models tailored for the Middle East.
  • Adobe will integrate its Arabic large language model “Allam” into its creative tools, enabling high-quality content creation in native Arabic with cultural accuracy.
  • Qualcomm will power Humain’s data centers with its new AI200 and AI250 chips and will open an R&D center in Riyadh to support large-scale generative AI deployment.
Adobe and Qualcomm have announced a major strategic partnership with Humain, the Saudi AI company backed by the Public Investment Fund, to develop Arabic-focused generative AI models tailored for the Middle East. The collaboration comes as part of several anticipated announcements at the US–Saudi Investment Forum, held alongside Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s visit to Washington.

The goal of the partnership is to create powerful creative tools that understand the Arabic language, regional culture, and local content needs—marking a significant milestone in the development of Arabic generative AI.

Adobe Integrates “Allam” Into Its Creative Applications

Adobe will lead the software and model-development component of the partnership. The company confirmed that it will integrate Allam, its Arabic large language model, into its suite of creative applications used for marketing campaigns, film production, TV content, and digital design.
This integration gives creators across the region access to Adobe’s creative tools in native Arabic, with improved cultural understanding and more accurate context handling.

Custom-Built Generative AI for the Arab World

Humain will leverage Adobe’s Firefly Foundry, a platform that allows companies to train Adobe’s generative AI models using their own data.
This capability enables Humain to build fully customized AI models that:

  • Understand linguistic nuances in Arabic

  • Reflect cultural context and brand identity

  • Generate regionally relevant creative content

These models go far beyond simple translation—they are designed and trained specifically for the Middle East.

Qualcomm Provides the Computational Infrastructure

Qualcomm will supply the computational power required to run these advanced models. Humain will use the company’s new AI200 and AI250 chips in its data centers to handle tasks such as video generation and large-scale model execution.
Qualcomm also announced plans to open a new Research & Development center in Riyadh next month, supporting the deployment of 200 megawatts of AI chips in its data centers next year.

Humain’s Vision: A New Era of Arabic Creative Intelligence

Tarik Amin, CEO of Humain, said:
“We are building a new creative intelligence that understands our language, values, heritage, and future with Adobe. With Qualcomm joining the collaboration, we are redefining the silicon that powers the next era of generative AI. Together, we are leading the development of creative AI for a new global age.”

A Transformational Impact on the Middle East’s Creative Industries

This partnership is expected to significantly boost the creative sector in the Middle East. By providing advanced, locally relevant AI tools, creators and businesses will be able to produce high-quality Arabic content more efficiently across industries such as:

  • Advertising

  • Film and TV production

  • Graphic design

  • Game development

  • Digital marketing

With Arabic-native AI tools, the region’s creative ecosystem is set to become more competitive and more capable of producing world-class content.
