GITEX Editions:
As part of Dubai’s vision to support 30 unicorn startups by 2030, the 44th edition will launch the “GITEX Editions” platform, aimed at accelerating the growth of startups and globalizing their strategies.
Among the prominent speakers:
- Fabrizio Del Maffeo, co-founder and CEO of Axelera AI from the Netherlands, which aspires to be the “European NVIDIA,” backed by funding from Samsung and the European Innovation Council.
- Dr. Alex Zhavoronkov, CEO of InSilico Medicine from Hong Kong, a pioneering company in AI-driven drug discovery and biotechnology, valued at $1.5 billion.
- Dr. Mazen Rizk, founder and CEO of Infinite Roots from Germany, specializing in sustainable alternative proteins through biotechnology.
Cybersecurity Conference:
- This year, cybersecurity will take center stage with interactive and practical sessions featuring key figures in the field, such as:
- Chenxi Wang, managing partner at Rain Capital from the US, one of the top investors in global cybersecurity technologies.
- Ekaterina Serban, Vice President of Privacy and Information Security at Germany’s Bosch, who will discuss strategies for adopting cybersecurity within organizations.
First-Time International Speakers:
For the first time in the region, speakers will include:
- Michael Spranger, CEO of Sony AI, presenting Sony’s latest AI projects.
- Chris Duffey, head of GenStudio at Adobe, who co-authored the first book on artificial intelligence with the help of AI itself.
