Alsaree3: An Emerging Iraqi Delivery Platform Raises a Seven-Figure Funding Round

Alsaree3, an Iraqi startup specializing in delivery services, announced the closing of a Series A funding round worth seven figures. The round was led by Snoonu, a leading food delivery and e-commerce platform in Qatar, with participation from Euphrates Ventures and support from Iraq Venture Partners (IVP).

Founded in 2018 by Bassam Al-Ateia, Alsaree3 is known for its high-quality services and reliability, making it a market leader in Iraq. The company had previously raised $6.5 million and boasts strong unit economics.

This new funding is a significant milestone for Alsaree3, helping accelerate its growth plans in Iraq. Bassam Al-Ateia, the founder of Alsaree3, stated, “Partnering with Snoonu, which has a great app and high-quality services, while maintaining the trust of our current investors, is great news for our employees, partners, and the entire Iraqi ecosystem.”

Hamad Al-Hajri, the founder and CEO of Snoonu, said, “We are proud to join Alsaree3’s journey and support the Iraqi startup ecosystem, which has the potential to become one of the leading markets in the region.”

Alsaree3 plans to use the new funding for:

  • Increasing driver centers: Expanding coverage in Iraq.
  • Expanding into two additional cities: Reaching more customers.
  • Launching new services: Better meeting customer needs.

This funding is expected to play a crucial role in boosting Alsaree3’s growth and its impact on social and economic development in Iraq.
