The RemotePass Platform Raises $5.5 Million in Series A Funding Round

RemotePass (the Human Resources and Financial Technology Platform) has raised $5.5 million in a Series A funding round led by 212, with participation from other investors such as Khwarizmi Ventures, Endeavour Catalyst, Oraseya Capital, Flyer One Ventures, Access Bridge Ventures, A15, and Swiss Founders Fund.

With this round, RemotePass’s total raised investments exceed $10 million.

This funding round will enable RemotePass to expand into Saudi Arabia as part of the Relocate initiative of the National Technology Development Program (NTDP), where the company will establish new offices and expand its team in the region.

RemotePass enables companies to hire employees in over 150 countries worldwide and manage their payroll without the need for a legal presence there. The platform works with major companies such as Logitech, Paymentology, and Spotify.

Kamal Reggad, CEO and Co-Founder of RemotePass, commented on the round, saying: “Our platform helps democratize access to global opportunities, equipping skilled individuals to compete in the global job market. This funding supports our mission to empower countless lives and help global teams succeed.”

RemotePass launched in 2019 as a software-as-a-service platform for the business travel sector, starting its remote work model from the outset. The company seized the opportunity the following year to transition to its current model during the COVID-19 pandemic as the world began widespread adoption of remote work.

RemotePass achieved significant monthly growth of 35% in its first two years due to client referrals and satisfaction with the service.
