Strategic Partnership between Entlaq and Ninjacart to Stimulate Innovation in Egypt’s Agricultural Technology Sector

“Entlaq,” which specializes in supporting entrepreneurship, has signed a strategic partnership agreement with “Ninjacart,” the Indian startup giant valued at billions of dollars in the agriculture sector, which relies on technology and data analytics to structure the agricultural ecosystem. This agreement aims to search for and support innovative startups in the field of agriculture in Egypt, and to provide them with an advanced technological platform from Ninjacart, supply chain management solutions, and specialized consulting services to develop the country’s agricultural technology sector.

The partnership primarily focuses on improving supply chain management through the use of advanced technology to directly connect farmers with the Egyptian markets. It also emphasizes the necessity of applying data-dependent agriculture to ensure quality and documentation, promoting financial inclusion within the agricultural value chain, market expansion, and waste reduction.

Ninjacart’s expansion in Egypt is part of its global initiative “Ninja Ventures,” an investment fund aimed at supporting Egyptian startups that fit Ninjacart’s business model. Through this partnership, Ninjacart aspires to achieve accelerated progress in the Egyptian agricultural sector and agricultural technology, focusing on innovation, sustainability, and efficiency. “Ninja Ventures” is considered part of Ninjacart’s ambitious plan to transfer its technical and knowledge expertise to startups in various countries to develop supply chains in the agricultural sector.

On this occasion, Omar Rizk, the co-founder and General Manager of Consulting and Strategy at Entlaq, said, “Our partnership with Ninjacart represents a qualitative leap for the development of the agricultural technology sector in Egypt, where technology plays a crucial role in improving the agricultural system. This partnership is a golden opportunity for entrepreneurs in the agricultural sector. It will contribute to boosting economic growth in Egypt, where about 29.2% of the workforce is employed in the agriculture sector, contributing approximately 11.3-13.6% of the Gross Domestic Product (with an approximate value of 400 billion Egyptian pounds).”

He added, “Our partnership with Ninjacart comes within the framework of our vision to enhance Egypt’s status as a regional entrepreneurship hub, where Ninjacart’s experience will significantly contribute to empowering startups and supporting the growth of the agricultural technology sector through innovation and technology to increase operational efficiency and achieve sustainable growth in line with Egypt’s 2030 plan.”

In turn, Kartheeswaran K K, the co-founder and CEO of Ninjacart, stated, “The partnership with Entlaq represents our step towards creating a radical transformation in the global agricultural system. We are excited to offer Ninjacart’s technological expertise to support startups in Egypt and to stimulate innovation and development. At Ninjacart, we aim to build a strong agricultural trade network by sharing our expertise with startups around the world, and our partnership with Entlaq is the cornerstone for achieving positive change in Egypt’s agricultural technology sector.
